I stumbled upon a site that was using some of my artwork for their article:

First Nation Sci-Fi & Technology Resources

I was incredibly flattered, but a little bugged that they didn't ask for my permission. They did give me credit though, and I'm all about the publicity. Pretty interesting article!

I hope that one day I'll be cool enough that people want to steal from me.

Dear Kory,

I was the author in question who had linked your artwork. I apologize sincerely for not contacting your first, but I had erroneously assumed that crediting you and linking to your website was enough.

I didn't mean to infringe upon your rights as an artist, of course, and actually had first seen your work posted on a steampunk forum. If you would like me to remove the piece, or discuss this further, please contact me via e-mail at

Haha it said "courtesy of" Kory hasn't years of friendship with me taught you anything about the piracy of intellectual property!
